Junior Youth Camp: Monday – Friday
Our KIDS will be leaving tomorrow morning for a few days of spiritual growth and challenge at the Youth Camp near Prescott. This will include a lot of fun! The KIDS (and the counselors) will delight in the cool temperatures of those beautiful mountains. (Don’t you wish you could go with them?) All of us remaining here in the desert must pray earnestly for their safe journey, God’s protection, and for a God-honoring experience of a lifetime.
To each that contributed to send our KIDS to camp…
A Special "Thank You"!
Tonight at SIX: A Message From God’s Word!
As we’ve celebrated this month the founding of our nation, what better way to demonstrate an appreciation to our Lord for our personal freedoms and privileges than to be in Church services tonight! It so honors God, the author of liberty, to assemble and to hear the preaching of the Word of God! (Heb 10:25) Consider this: what if you lived in a country that did not have the freedom to assemble? Probably wouldn’t bother the majority of professing Christians in America. But, mature Bible believers will never take for granted the liberties our dear Lord has so favored Americans to enjoy! See you tonight!
Preaching Wednesday, July 22
Preaching All Services, Sunday, July 26
Kent York heads Ignite Evangelistic Ministries – a part of our Missions family. Using a mixture of humor and poignant truth, the Word of God comes alive in Brother York’s messages, and have always "ignited" and challenged this Church family! Perhaps you’ve invited others that have yet to attend our services, and others that did, but did not respond to the Gospel. Why not attempt to have them here next Wednesday and Sunday to hear our Evangelist? We don’t want anyone to pass up this opportunity to be under the ministry of one of America’s soul winning, local Church evangelists!
"You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."
A God-called Preacher is "called" to transform the culture - not conform to it." Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Rom12:2)
Biblical confrontational preaching is plain (Mark 6:12), powerful (Acts 4:31), and purposeful (1 Cor. 1:18).
